PORTODIMARE

PORTODIMARE - geoPortal of Tools & Data for sustainable Management of coAstal and maRine Environment
(February 2018 - January 2020)
PORTODIMARE, co- founded by the Interreg Adrion programme, aims to create a common platform (Geoportal) which will provide access to information, data and tools useful for the management of marine and coastal areas of the Adriatic-Ionian Region. The platform will integrate existing databases, portals and tools developed by previous EU-funded projects (e.g. SHAPE, ADRIPLAN), local and national administrations and other initiatives.
Once ready, PORTODIMARE Geoportal will support the implementation of:
- the Protocol for Integrated Coastal Zone Management in the Mediterranean (entered into force in March 2013);
- the Maritime Space Planning (Directive 2014/89 EU)
- the Action Plan of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR).
The project is coordinated by the Emilia Romagna Region. CORILA is partner of the project involving the following associated bodies: CNR-ISMAR, University IUAV of Venice, Ca’ Foscari University and OGS.
