Rest-Coast: first stakeholders meeting in Venice

On Tuesday 11 October, the first meeting with the Venice lagoon "stakeholders" was held in Venice in the Committee room of Palazzo X Savi, organized as part of the H2020 Rest-Coast project.

Objective of the day: to discuss the environmental restoration practices necessary to counteract the loss of sediment and the conservation of habitats in the #Venice lagoon and on how to make the planning of these interventions more participatory.

The Rest-Coast project, which intends to define the most virtuous practices of Nature Based Solutions for the environmental and morphological recovery of threatened coastal environments, promotes the creation of a local community that will meet regularly to discuss these important issues.
