SedNet Short Course on Sediment Management
SedNet, the European Sediment Network, organises a short course on sustainable sediment management that will take place on 20 September in Ferrara, during the Coast Expo 2012 event. CORILA is a supporting organization of SedNet and it is membre of the SedNet Steering Group.
The course, titled “Lessons learned from success Case Studies of sediment management in Europe”, gives the opportunity to a number of sediment-related problem owners to get in contact with important and state-of-the-art experiences on sediment management and share best practices.
The interactive (and informal) format of the course should give the opportunity to the participants to explore in details the ingredients of a success Case Study and reflect in the Case Studies their own experiences and open issues.The course cover a wide range of arguments: from technical aspects to the institutional and legislative framework as well as economic aspects.
The deadline for the course registration is the 10 of September 2012
